Winter II 2013 Keeping a Sketching Journal

This session we will be learning how to keep a nature journal. One of the things you can do is find a place in your own home near a window and keep a record of what you see, hopefully daily. I would recommend the Nature Sketchbook, but it is not necessary. Any good sketchbook 90# or more will work.

Keep notes. I follow this format, making a thumbnail sketch with color trials. I find the value scale is always helpful
