It looks like we're going to have another beautiful day in paradise. Tomorrow, we're scheduled to meet at Powell's bookstore on Hawthorne Blvd (3723 Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard, Portland, OR 97214). Please bring your camping chair as we will work on city sketching.

What is the Sketch'n on the Go Series?

Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12:00 noon. we meet to sketch. We usually spend most of our time outside during the late spring to early fall. However, when the weather gets inclement, we meet in my studio near Tigard, Oregon. to hone our skills for the next adventure. For more information and schedule email: jjgoodell@gmail.com

Basic In-Class Supplies

Mechanical pencil, .5 or .7 mm, HB

Sketchbook, I like Nature Sketch, Moleskin watercolor or Pentallic Modeskin

Permanent ink pen: Micro 05, Zig, or Copic

Erasers: kneadable and white plastic

Compass (for measuring)

Small watercolor traveling set: Winsor & Newton, Yarka or pill box set

Small set of watercolor pencils

Niji Waterbrush, medium

6” ruler

Pencil pouch
